Dangerous river crossing for Lioness and Cubs

 

This interesting storey took place in the Kruger National Park between Skukuza and Tshokwane on the bank of the Sand river. Mothers in the wild demand a lot from their small offspring, in many ways. This seems to be part of nature to make them stronger.
Unfortunately I was unable to see and film what happened in the end, as there was quite a bit of traffic at this particular sighting. Game viewing vehicles always seem to block and prevent normal vehicles from moving into a position to see all the happenings.
