Lion pride walking with 12 lion cubs and the 2 pride males in the road. Kruger National Park South Africa.
I was lucky enough to spend a a few days in a row with the H5 Lion pride along with the Lubyelubye father and son coalition who are the pride males.
On this particular day I found them mid morning, 4 of the lioness were active as they were on the hunt. After no luck the pride rested in the shade. I waited until the afternoon with them hoping the would get active again. The lubyelube son started roaring and a short while later the Lubyelubye father and two lioness crossed into the road shortly followed by the lubyelubye son with the 12 lion cubs behind him.
